Engraved Slate Sign and Rock Gifts for the Gardener. These signs and plaques make a great gift for the plant lover, or a funny and unique sign for your own garden area.
The River Rock we use is "nature made"; it is not faux or resin rock. The Random Slate signs are re-purposed patio slate, and the Roof Slate is a recycled piece of slate. The rock and slate pieces vary in shape and/or thickness and/or color.
The sandblast engraved area is painted with an industrial primer, and then two coats of an indoor/outdoor paint.
Random Slate: We drill two hang holes for a vertical or horizontal orientation, attach a leather strap, and affix four bumper pads to the back to protect the wall surface. We will ship a slate from inventory that is similar to the one pictured; it will be somewhat different from what is pictured. These slates can be ordered without the hang holes.
Roof slate: These pieces come with the original two holes at one end for vertical layouts and come with four holes for the horizontal layouts.
